Last night, while I was sleeping in my bed, I was suddenly awakened by the sound of lightning from a great storm outside. The wind was raging, and the rain was pounding in torrents against my window. Lightning struck again and again.

After I shut the window, I went on my knees and began to pray that the storm would do no harm to me and the sisters living with me in the convent, when I heard these words: "Say the Chaplet I taught you, and the storm will end."

I began immediately to say the Chaplet with trust in my heart, and I hadn't even finished it when the storm suddenly ended. Then I heard Jesus speak to me these words: "Through this Chaplet you will obtain everything if what you ask for is in union with my will."
